Xilisoft Multiple Desktops 1.0

Xilisoft Multiple Desktops is a program that creates multiple desktops for a single user just like in Linux. The program is freeware and very small. You can create up to four desktops and open any number of windows in desktops.

We can save different configurations for icons on each desktop. This can be useful if we need different modes of operation on different desktops. For example, we can use one desktop optimized for doing office work, another one could have many icons for games, the third may have many links to websites, etc. We can also use the program to extend our workspace. This is particularly useful for people who often open a lot of windows and find it difficult to find the exact window they need. Thus the program basically tries to remove clutter from your desktop.

We can protect three windows with different passwords. Hotkeys (or shortcut key combinations) could be set to switch between desktops easily. We can also see the four desktops arranged together on the screen.
